Polar Express
Polar Express™ leaves from the Carson City Eastgate Depot. This diesel train ride is one hour long. Friday, Saturday & Sunday: November 25th - December 18th (see departure times below).
Experience the magic aboard The Polar Express™. The train departs the Carson City Depot through rolling hills to begin its magical journey. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while anticipating a special visit to Santa’s North Pole! Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas.
Make this a special family holiday experience. The train leaves each Friday, Saturday and Sunday night (check departure times) from November 25th through December 18th. This diesel train ride is about an hour. Includes Keepsake Silver Bell, Hot Chocolate & Cookies, Entertainment and Reading of the Polar Express™

If you’re traveling and don’t have a printer, simply write down your confirmation code and bring it with you at check-in.

Directions to the Carson City Depot: In Carson City, take Hwy. 50 East past Eagle Valley Golf Course. Turn right on Flint Dr. After 2/3 mile, turn left. Follow the signs to East Gate Depot.
This activity is handicapped accessible in certain situations but not all. Aisles & doors on the train are 24 inches wide and can accommodate wheelchairs. The 100 year old train is wheelchair accessible. Accommodations for scooters are subject to size and weight. Special needs patrons need to make arrangements beforehand.
Schedule and equipment subject to change. We reserve the right to sell your ticket if you have not checked in ten minutes prior to scheduled train departure. No cancellations.

"Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for my girls to take a trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express. It was so much fun and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was set up just right to all the helpful "elves" around, heated tent, great gift shop with reasonable prices, Santa there before to take pictures, beautifully decorated train, extra nice staff aboard the train and many many other fantastic elements that followed the book. We took the train ride in Ely, NV. last year and this one by far out does that one. We LOVED it, thank you!!!"

"We took our 2 year old twin boys on the trip today for Fathers Day and what a special day it was. We loved the train, the ride, the history of the area and enjoyed our time in Virginia City walking the town and enjoying a simple lunch. We highly recommend for a fun family day.
